Penny Stocks
Penny stocks are widely supposed to be risky investment instruments among investors because of the many drawbacks associated with them. One of those usually cited is that penny stocks hardly change hands due to lack of market support and so selling them might not be that easy for investors. Since a savvy investor wants to be sure about the liquidity of his potential investment, he thinks twice before buying penny stocks. This is precisely because many penny stocks with good growth potential also fail to draw due attention from the investors at large. But then, at the same time, that is also the reason why penny stock markets should be mined by investors for a likely treasure trove.

Let the RFID Cycle Begin – IntermecIt was

Let the RFID Cycle Begin – Intermec
It was when the largest company and Intermec's closest competitor, Symbol Technologies, that created the biggest challenge to Intermec's claims. Symbol Technologies not only refused to pay early in the process, but sued Intermec asking for Intermec to pay Symbol royalties for their many patents and Symbol wanted their own version of the standard.Symbol gave up their court fight and agrees to join Intermec's Rapid Start Licensing program. When your biggest competitor allows you to sign a controlling contract where Symbol has to pay royalties to Intermec every time Symbol sells a RFID hardware product. To me the Intermec/Symbol relationship Intermec has provided validation with a very high degree of control.

Penny Stock Investing
Stocks are generally categorized according to their market capitalization and price value by the market players. Accordingly, we hear terms like large cap stocks, medium cap stocks and small cap stocks. Shares with very small market cap (up to $100 million) and a maximum price value of up to $ 3 are called penny stocks in the market jargon. These are usually cited as the opposite of blue chip shares, which often carry a premium tag. Penny stocks are usually traded over the counter (OTC) by the brokers because they are unable to list on exchanges due to their stringent norms.

Penny Stocks – Beyond the Pump and Dump
Penny Stocks can be a great investment, but you have to know what to look for, or sometimes more accurately, what to look out for.

Analyzing the Financial Market: The Rule of 20
Divining the direction of the stock market can be as confusing as being a termite in a yo-yo. So what would be a good simple gauge we could use to determine if the equity markets are overvalued or undervalued? Price to earning ratio is one determinant, but it has its limitations. Enter the Rule of 20-a simple formula that has been around for many years but hardly ever used.

Learn to Invest Money: Protect Your Stocks During Turbulent Times, Part II (May 18, 2006)
In the U.S., the Dow is down 4% , the Nasdaq about 6%, and the S&P 500 about 5% in a week. European stocks posted their biggest drop since May 2003, and the FTSE 100 in the UK had its biggest 2 day loss in 3 years. On the other hand, in Asia, as of May 11th, the HK Hang Seng index was up 22%, the South Korean index up 55%, the Australian markets up 31%, and China was up 50% before these markets also corrected with the global market correction in the past 7 days. So what's an investor to do in times like these?
